Two Dead At Newroad After Early Morning gunshots

Pct1: Two dead bodies in a gutter at Newroad Two people  has been  found dead today in a gutter At New Newroad   Mile 2, Nkwen, Bamenda, raising alarm in the local community. According to residents, gunshots were heard around 2 a.m. last night in the Ntamuche area, though it remains unclear who was involved in the shooting. Moreover, w itnesses  are said to have  discovered the se  bodies this morning  January 26 , describing  it as  a shocking scene. Authorities have yet to release the identities of the deceased or confirm the circumstances surrounding the killings.   However t he incident  has cause  tension in  residents around mile 2 nkwen and the Newroad area  , where reports indicate that violence continues to claim lives and disrupt communities. Bamenda city chemist bridge construction causes intense traffic

              People  and catapilers at the site  Traffic has been on standstill at Old Town Bamenda after road constructors blocked the main road leading to the city center due to the ongoing construction of the City Chemist Vatican Bridge. From early morning, drivers ,bike riders, and the population has been trapped in long queues as vehicles move slowly while others are being forced to turn back . The road, a major link between Old Town and central Bamenda, is now used daily by thousands of people . Meanwhile, Construction equipments and materials has occupied a large section of the roadway around  City Chemist Vatican area, as Some road users says they have to use other roads in other to catch up with time by using other roads so as to be able to catch up with their daily balances while some are still stock in traffic around old town. Crowded Markets Low Sales Vendors Hope for increase in sales

Traders and population at the Bamenda main market  Despite  the population that has  filled  Bamenda  main market, vendors say s  sales  has  remain unexpectedly low, raising concerns among traders who  now hope  on an improvement in  sales in  the coming days.    From early morning until  closing market hours  , narrow pathways are packed with buyers  going  through stalls, bargaining loudly and inspecting colorful fabrics  Christmas decors and kitchen utensils  . However, for many cloth vendors, the reality behind the crowded markets tells a different story.   where as,s everal traders report that while foot traffic has increased significantly, actual purchases have not matched expectations.  Aunty Frida who sells clothes says “ People are coming, they are looking, asking prices, even trying out fabrics,   But at the end of the day, very few are actually buying. ”   ...
